Celebrating Megan Thee Stallion’s college graduation by launching a custom hashmoji, header, and avi for @TwitterMusic. The purpose of stepping outside the daily music coverage was to show that we support Megan’s accolades beyond music. Thanks to Megan’s use of Twitter, we witnessed her journey for the last ten years—from college, working a 9-5, and her rap career.
The hashtags launched by @TwitterMusic were utilized worldwide and trickled into other platforms such as Instagram. #HottieGraduation was an organic campaign that trended at #3 for over 4 hours on December 11, 2021.
